Tough day at Epping Sunday

The track was slick, too many events and 400+ cars. I got 1 run the 4+ hours I was there. I spun till 3rd and ran a 2.34 60' and a 13.8 @ 108.8mph. Anyone else have problems?

Two passes, long time waiting, but I did not have trouble hooking up. I guess the right lane was slick early on, but it was cleaned up becasue I made my second pass in it with no problems.

Yeah, I had a hard time. I was in the right lane and I spun like crazy. After I ran once, I watched for about an hour or so and then decided it would be another 3 hours before I got to run again so I left.

hey i was in Epping too on sunday, about 1/4 mile down the road at star speedway for the Halloween Howler

I did plenty of spinning, sometimes into other cars, sometimes off the road.... of course I'm sore as hell today but it was fun

I decided not to go Sunday(remembered how bad it was last year)So I went Wed night.Traction really sucked then too.I was going sideways at around 90-100mph Out of 4 runs I had to let off on each one.My best ended up to be 12.2 at 109mph.I guess next year will be the year for 11's

I was there Sunday. I got to find out it was raining downtrack on my 2nd pass just after 5, hate it when slicks meet a wet surface. Did make for an interesting ride.
Traction was an issue both passes though with street tires chopping up line. Even with tire spin it still managed a pair of 1.54's though and 2nd pass was on fastest run ever going by 330 times.
500+ cars made for a very long day and little of what I had gone there to do being accomplished. Hopefully we can get some accomidations made for points members on test and tune days. 4 hours between runs does not allow for sorting problems or trying dif set ups.

Friend of mine was there on Sunday, went 11.11@124 in his V6 Firebird, only got 2 runs and said the place was packed.
