Terrible news........Greg (gbelli) in bad accident

I just got a call from Greg's GF Sara and she told me that Greg was in a serious accident on his way home from work Wednesday. Apparently he was riding home from work on his new motorcycle and lady in a mustang (how ironic) hit him head on is his lane. I don't know why the mustang was in his lane. He has a broken right leg, broken right shoulder, and a whole host of other little injuries. He's in surgery at this moment at Brigham and Woman's. I guess he is going to have a long rehab after the surgery and is going to be in the hospital at least until the end of the day Sunday. Sara's going to give me the hospital contact info when it's available and if you guy's want I'll post it here. Let's make sure we do what we can to support him, those of you who know him know hes a really awesome guy. Just thought that you guys would want to know. Sorry to put a damper on the summer nationals and all.

Yeah, he was wearing all his protective gear according to Sara. From how it sounds it could have been MUCH worse. All that gear, whatever he was wearing, probably saved his life. If I end up seeing him I'll pass on all the warm wishes from the board members.

Oh my God, this is terrible. Greg is one of my favorite guys here. I've been meaning to tell him what's up on AIM recently, but haven't. If you can, PM me with the contact info.

Godspeed.

I'm still waiting to hear guys. You can bet that as soon as I hear I'll post, assuming I'm near a CPU. Thanks for your support.

As an FYI, I've stickied this in the Lounge. You're in our thoughts and prayers, Greg.

Please fill us in when you get the hospital contact information. Maybe I can send him some of my wrong-dip to help the recovery.
