Good Luck
Bob,
Soooo close........

My best pass was 10.201 @ 136.68.
I was thinking of you, Damn ****ing Bob jinxed me.....bastard!! j/k.

I was stoked, made 6 passes and all but one was a 10.2XX pass and the one that didn't make a 10.2 was a 10.305

The day went as follows

1.553 sixty ft - 10.281 @ 134.32

1.563 sixty ft - 10.305 @ 134.12

1.512 sixty ft - 10.201 @ 136.68

1.541 sixty ft - 10.249 @ 133.66

1.549 sixty ft - 10.243 - 134.51

1.538 sixty ft - 10.238 @ 133.87

I had a rematch with the green 72 duster that I pounded last week and the results were the same

Mod313 - good to meet you

R/T was pretty good as well
In the same order......

.562
.611
.597

Agreed, last week I ran into a guy and I said "don't I know you" and he said "you're the guy that allways bashed Quest Racing" and I'm like yup that's me

I thought it was classic.

Good runs. I'm game for a bracket run. Yesterday was not one of my better days (went out in the 4th round). My RT's: .513, .504, .511, and the losing .567 to a better .555 in the other lane. I ran a 12.084 on a 12.09 dial. He had a 13.524 on a 13.52 dial.

Line them up.

Still running dual cats

Just working on the tune and the weather was somewhat better, not as good as I thought it would be but better than the week before.

Thumbs up Re: Soooo close Uncle Bob

I was There on Saturday and I saw your 4th run. . I thought it would run quick when I saw the car but when I saw it run I was .
I was hoping to see some LS1 F bodies up there but i did'nt see any.
But I did see a new neon Srt4 beat a '94 cobra by a half a second.
It was my first time out in 2 years in my Saleen. My last 2 times out I melted pistons, cracked a block and a cylinder head. But after going through the car on the dyno we got everything sorted out and the car ran its best mph ever on its first pass with a 9.77@146 with only a 1.54 60' time. On my 3rd run I was quicker and faster at half track but broke a blower belt right after halftrack. With that mph I think I can get it in the 9.3 range once I get everything sorted out.
Again, congrats on your runs.Hopefully I'll see you up there again.

88 - Thanks.

Not bad for only about 15 passes on the car huh?

It'll run 9's eventually

Re: Soooo close Uncle Bob

You should definatly get it in the 9's with that 136 mph.If you can get your 60''s in the mid 1.4's you'll get it in the 9's. You should take it to one of the GM HIGH Tech shootouts down in N.J.. I used to race my mustang at them back when they allowed all makes of fuel injected cars.It was alot fun going against some fastest LS1's,LT1's,and GN's in the northeast.
But now I have a LS1 for my daily driver so if not this year I'll definatly going down next year with it hopefully in the 11's.
