I did not think there was that much rice? I was there all day friday and maybe saw a hand full, maybe I was just lucky. What I did not like was the carnival downtown. Actually I saw it headed west on the MassPike this morning on my way to work. All in all I thought the show was good, I just think Bob needs to rethink his priorities for next year and turn it back into a 'car' event.

Question

I was there Friday night on Main st. (hated the carnival too!) and Saturday morning. There was more rice than ever before but I saw only a half dozen??? 4,000 cars total, that's not a bad percentage.

I agree, although the show does keep getting better every year with the number of registered cars rising (this year it was up to about 6,000!) I didn't like the carnival that was added this year. I think it cut back on alot of the show car parking downtown and I think alot of other people besides me can agree. Other then that again a good time especially up at green hill park. The only big majority of rices I saw were usually downtown at night but most of them wern't even registered for the show they were just cruising around, but up at green hill I didn't see too many, a couple here and there but that was about it. Other then that great time! Can't wait already for next year!

I never saw any lines for the carnival rides, so I don't think they'll be back next year!! I didn't see much rice, but I'm not looking for them either!! For once it looked as though the Mustangs weren't the majority!! Not as much tire blowouts in the burnouts this year...... I never did get to bring the Z up, it's STILL in the shop (2 weeks tomorrow).
