i was reading up on the racer's handbook the other night for NED and it said E-Cutouts are not allowed... i dont understand? i planned on doing longtubes into dual e-cutouts into a true dual system...so i could open the cutouts at the track.... now will i be able to do this at NED or will i be kicked out???

Depends on the class. No open exhaust in street, period. That holds true on street nights as the track has a "good neighbor policy". For special events open headers are permitted. Different tracks have different rules but the bottom line is most tracks in populated areas have some sort of restriction on open exhaust. At Englishtown the rule is 90 decibels at 100 feet and they have a sound meter established and will boot you if you do not meet the rule.

well if they all of a sudden hear you car get louder they might look under your car. They hear cars run all night..so they know what to hear..they know what a cutout sounds like..and if they find a cutout your gone..and some guys there are PITA. and sticklers to the "rules" so why try it and get caught.

Now I havnt been there in a while but its there discression if you get thrown out ofr just the night or maybee longer..so best not to chance it...
