Hey guys, I've got a DMH dual 3" cutout setup and 2 Flowtech 3" cutouts for sale.
I had the two cutouts right off my long tubes, and I didn't have a lot of ground clearance. I came out of a business with a little rain channel between their lot and the road, my car dipped down and hit one of the e-cutouts and it stopped working. I just got it back today from DMH for the warrenty work.
Between needing to get a exhaust that would pass emissions, and dealing with that. I chopped both cutouts off, put cats up with another custom y-pipe for a emissions legal exhaust, and did a true dual setup for performance.
The E-cutouts still have 2&1/2 years worth of warrenty left on them. I can send along the emails to let you know the dates when the original buy went down.
If I had more room under the car up there, I'd keep them. A good use for them would be, instead of getting a true dual system with bullets, get real mufflers, put the cutouts and e-cutouts behind them, so you can go from quiet to loud in about 3 seconds.
I would do that on my car, but I'm out of $$$, and I don't feel like dealing with more exhaust stuff for awhile.
I have a guy who wants one of them, so if someone wants to have them seperated, I can get in touch with him again and see if he still wants it. I'll have to consult my dad (a fiddler electrictian) on how to split up the harness, plus doing so will definatly void any sort of warrenty it had. It'd split the price in half.
New they were $320, I'll take $200 + S&H.
I've also got the two cutouts for sale. 1 has a small ding in it. It still seals completely, even without a gasket on it.
Since the cutouts were so close to the engine, I had to keep them secured with regular bolts with a wratchet that I carried around (before I got the e-cutouts), because I couldn't get enough torque on the regular wing nuts. It comes with both, 2 gaskets and the little metal bracket deal.
For the dinged up one, $10+S&H. For the undamaged one, I'll take $15+S&H for it.
I also sanded most of the road grime, dirt, and dust off of them, sprayed them down with carb cleaner, then applied a new coat of 1200* black paint to them. I'm going to put another coat on them too. Also, I put the metal tape around the threads to make sure I didn't get paint on them.
If you have any questions, or want pictures feel free to email me.
