Need help LT1 guys. Can someone measure something..
Can someone measure the distance from the crank pulley/damper to the dual fan setup. I need to know how much room I have for the turbo I need the shortest distance, so try and measure from the top of the crank pulley straight across to the fans. Somebody?? Also, cansomeone measure the shortest distance from the driver's sdie head to the fender wall (near the steering shaft)? I'd appreciate the help guys! Thanks.

Hi RealQuick,
I measure 4" from top center of balancer to radiator shroud. However, the passenger side fan motor is closer @ about 3", but it is not centered to the balancer. The fan motor is @ about 9-10 o'clock out from balancer.
(i hope that description is clear.)
I can bring in my camera and get you some pics if you need them.
I will try to get the head to fender for you later... (it's TIGHT!)

no problem...
It looks like it's about 3.75" from head (cyl 3+5) to fenderwell... Hard to tell becasue manifolds in the way and fender is sloping down toward the ground. Clearance would be highly dependent on height/size of headers etc...
