MA inspection question...

For anyone that does inspections or would know, I have some issues for my '97 Grand Prix GT that I use for my daily driver. On my last oil change, these issues came up that I need to address:
- Power steering lines are leaking a little bit
- Left front CV boot Leaking
- Front Sway Bar and 2 links are crakced/broken
- Transmission cooler lines leaking
- Replace gaskets

If it can pass inspection, I'll probably just keep driving it. If it won't pass inspection, I'll either part it out or sell it to a friend of mine who can fix it up.

Any one know if it will pass inspection?

From the Mass RMV website:

# What do they inspect on my vehicle?

* VIN Number/Registration/License Plates
* Windshield
* Wipers/Windshield Washer
* Headlights/Headlight Aim
* Turn Signals/4-Way Flashers
* Tail Lamps/Brake Lights/Backup Lights/Other Lighting Devices
* Horn
* Exhaust System
* Tires
* Body Panels/Fuel Tank
* Service Brake
* Parking/Emergency Brake
* Seat Belts
* Ball Joints/Steering/Suspension
* Emissions Test/Emissions Components (if applicable)

The sway bar stuff is part of the suspension but it's failure is almost certainly NOT going to cause an accident. So it could boil down to where you take it and how hard they look at the car. I think you will pass.

it all depends on where you have the sticker done
those things are not usually checked but some inspectors could be dicks about it but at the sams time any time you have a leak you should be replaced.
the main things they check is
lights,wipers,horn,tires,wiper sprayers,windshield,tint,horn,front end and body rot.99% of them will not fail you for a leak but some will.
if the leak isn't too bad just wash off undercarrage before going for sticker

as long as the stuff isnt dripping on the groud they should pass you no problem. hell even new cars have leaks lol. the cv axle you might wanna get taken care of pretty quick cause once the grease gets out of it and water starts gettin in it goes bad quick. youll start hearing clacking wen you turn and then its a very short time till the axle breaks. as for teh rest of the stuff none of it appears to be that major. if you are worried just go get a can of brake clean and spray it on the hoses before you go the the inspection so itll look a little bit better.

Ok thanks guys. I'll probably just give it a quick cleaning and take my chances. I really don't care too much about the car because it's my beater and I really don't want to pour money into it. Once it goes, I hope to be moving down south so the winter months won't be too much of a problem.
