FS: cheap beater, and custom built camaro sub box
FS: cheap beater, and custom built camaro sub box
the beater is a 1996 Saturn SL2, 86k miles, green with tan interior, 5 sp manual, AWD turbo, 500hp... oh no wait... ok its actually pretty slow, but reliable. $2900 obo
the sub box is built to fit perfectly on the deck of the hatch right behind the rear seat, it has two JL 8w0s in it, and an integrated Kenwood amp. It has made from 3/4" MDF, and carpeted on the outside to blend into the camaro's interior. The kenwood takes speaker level inputs and is pretty easy to wire up. Construction is geared more towards "punch" like in rock or punk music... get in touch with me and we can discuss price/parting out or whatever.

no mods, no mods planned... and I would put the subs in it, but the box is about 5 inches too long.
hey, and if your car is gone, what are you driving Rich? I bet it has an LS1 in it.

I did make a valiant effort to get into an '02 WS6. I got the wife to test drive it... she really liked it "This is nothing like the Green Monster!", but then we drove the SSEi. I've always liked them. Great daily driver. And, boy does it get as many looks as the Z ever did.
Now the door is open for the '64 Impala SS I've got my eye on. Aqua, 283 w/4bbl, 202 heads, cam, headers, dual exhaust , PG. Nothing crazy (read I don't go to the track), just a great fun cruiser that will turn heads and get out of its own way. Who knows, maybe a 409 will find its way between that vast expanse under the hood.
