Come on John, you can do it. I know on the LS1/LS6 engines you should be able to pull the cam without removing the heads or intake Thats what GMHTPM says. Ask Dean to hook you up.

Lol i probably could but i don't like to screw up and kick myself in the *** for it so i'd rather pay someone who knows what they are doing and watch. I am gonna email dean to see what he says but the problem is the cam i want will not remotely pass emission owell I gotta find someone to fix that lol.

I can hook you up.Remember that you need to replace the springs and pushrods while you do the Cam.Also to get the most affect from a Cam headers should go in too.
My car passes emmisions easily with Cats

well i am really thinking about the new lg motorsports cam and some hooker long tubes with no cats so there isn't much of an option to passing emissions there unless i figure something out.

Just a little thought of the future for you.The Cam is great and will require springs to match.Hookers are a great longtube but has no way to mount Cats for the visual part of inspection. You will also need LS1 Edit to tune in the cam and you should replace the intake with a LS6 piece to get the full affect. You should be near 400rwhp which will require a new clutch and then lead to a blown rear that will have to be replaced with a 12 bolt.
As you can see it can add up fast to make your car reliable when adding HP.So make sure you see the whole picture before you start.
For SOTP results I would suggest 4.10 gears.Makes a world of difference.
