ANDRE, your slowing me up over here. Eds spending all his time on your car. Im jealous.

I was hoping to take my car to deans on sat. for the dyno day but i dont think mine will be done in time.

I guess Ed's doing a real nice job though. He is running all the wires in wire loom and sodering all the wires and using shrink wrap so you wont have any problems. i admitt he can be slow but its because he does things the right way and not half-a**.

one thing i can say ...... im glad thats not my bill.

I think he said your car will be done today. Let me know how it comes out.

Saw it yesterday, and he and another guy work workin' on it. It's looking good.

My car goes in next Tuesday to have the springs installed. He said it could take about 4 hours, but it would definitely be done in one day. (You think?)

Thumbs up

jeff,

the other guy is jeremy he helps ed once in a while when he needs two people to do things. he knows what he is doing. hes building a mustang with a 408 and nitrious in it.

your springs should take one day. as long as that is all hes doing on your car. Some times people say they have one thing and when they get there they have about 6 more things they want him to do on there car and it backs him up. or not everything in the kit is there and he has to run around and try to find parts.

i know hes putting together this guys eddy's mustang with a new 347 strocker and a J trim. He has to put the motor in, put in a new roll cage and set up the after market computer and senors.

besides that, andres car will be done unless he has him do something else and my car should be done also. cross your fingers.

let me know how you make out.

Cool

>Well Ed called and says that tomorrow is the day ... I can't wait to drive my car . It's been at Ed's since last wednesday . I gave him one job , but it was a huge job , and of course one I didn't want to tackle . Dennis I am going to keep the block I bought off of you instead of returning to Nu-tek as a core and make a project out of it ... I'm liking the sound of a LT1 427 with high compression and maybe the nitrous kit that Ed is installing in my car now , will probably get removed and used on the 427 (???) in an early (1970) "plain jane" Camaro so I won't have to pass Mass. emissions , but that is a lot of $$$ and we will have to see what happens .

Jeff, That's awesome your getting your car done. I'll have to check it out after it's done. As you know Scott is thinking about it for my car. He also just bought HOTCHKIS LS1/V6 STRUT TOWER BRACE, POLISHED for my car. I just bought all the dress up stuff for mine at MBA. So much for no more mods...LOL. While we are at Carlisle we are also looking for some rims for my car as well. Again so much for NO MORE MODS.

Also if you haven't met Andre he's a great guy. I had the pleasure of meeting him one day.

Andre, It was nice to also see you last week on the Drive in Chicopee. Who was in the back? She sounded SOOO cute saying "HI" to me.

Well, she sounds like a cutie. I'm sure she will do great in Jr. Dragster.

I hear ya about the NECC site. But that's ok. I check here every once and a while. To see what's going on.

I just got back from Carlisle, PA. From that show. MAN IT WAS AWESOME. I'm definately going back next year. I placed 3rd in my class (Mild Modified). I think there were 4 of us. But not bad for an everyday driver car. I originally didn't sign up for any classes but they put me in one. No big deal.

I would love to go to Dyno day. If the time allows I plan on getting my car done again. Considering I had it done with just the Whisper lid on and got 310. I would like to know what the exhaust bumped it up to. Dean sounds like a great guy. Hopefully I can make one.

Scott's car should be going in the body shop sometime in August probably late. And it will take about 1 1/2 years. I can't wait.

ANDRE, how long did it take you to install your tach on your dash, and how complicated is it.

thanks dennis

>Dennis ,
The tach was real easy to install especially if you have a MSD6AL like I do (and I believe you do) the hardest part was where to put it . By-the-way I'm going to Ed's today to watch your car and maybe ask him to go on the test ride (JK) I can't wait to hear it run .
I think I toasted the engine on my car , but thats O.K. my car goes in my garage at the end of the week anyway .When are you coming out west to see your car ?
