The TB may be hurting his performance....this is up for a huge discussion atleast once a week but the general consensus is that a bigger TB on a stock motor is never a good idea, certainly not worth the $350 and could take away from performance.

The headers and cam will DEFINATLY help you.

I just have a hard time understanding the concepts. The 52mm does work higher in the rpm range I felt a better pull but still I know I should have shifted higher up like 6000 and floored it as well but I am not going to beat my car to death either. There will be a next time and the next time I will smoke him. The only other reason why I know he isn't stock is cause when we were up the powerband he chirped his tires----no stock z is gonna smoke the tires around 80mph I don't care. Well I'll be picking the headers up this week and hopefully the cam as well---put both in next week and pray my bizznitch is a little faster.

And if you see this guy again, bring him my way, My car is stock to!! Just a Ram Air kit. Verrrrrrry nice one thoe!!!
Hey NOYZEE, hows the turbos? Ever get it running right after the dyno?

As far as the 383, sounds like he couldnt hook. I should be in the 12.5 range with homeported heads/cam/bolt-ons. Sounds like an extremely mild 383. The ZO6 has decent mph, but the ET is a little high. A little better 60' and you should see 12.4-12.50.

I've seen stock Z06's run 12.0-12.1 consistantly at 116-118mph. Those cars are freakin fast as ****.

i think its funny that i've been able to pull 2.12 60fts on sucky futura super sports all day long, only problem is that i can't keep up that pace the whole way down the track I wonder what I could get her to do w/ tires that will actually allow me to launch at something over 1200 rpms

I gotta get a muffler on my car so I can run at the track w/ my car thats finally running at least close to the way its supposed to.

This car im talkin bout is a dog, who ever built it didnt do so great, the car is kind of a bone. But the Z06 is no joke, That car will go 12.2 no prob, i drove it like ****, bounced the rev lim and spun the tires, and it only had 2,000 miles on it. First time out with the car!! It will get better

Glad to hear your turbo setup is running good. Hopefully I see you at the track with the ZO6 when I get my heads and LT's done

Well with the #'s in your sig, I might have to power shift just right to win, But If my Dads stock car looses that means I'll have to break out the White Z!!! If that looses, looks like the Silver Bullet might have to come out to play!!!

Hehe. Well the #'s in my sig are before the stage 2 heads, long tubes, TB and MAF. I hope to be 390rwhp-400rwhp when I'm done with the install. The white Z would make me look like I'm in reverse! What is the silver bullet?

390 is nice #'s!!!!!! It would be a good race against the Z06, you have more power but the Z should be a little lighter! It would be tight!! I do plan on a couple little things on the Z06, They should put me around 360 to 370 rwhp wich will be good for my old man, just enoph that if a stock Z06 wants a piece, my old man has it covered!!!!
What is this Silver bullit I speak of, you ask!!!! It is my emergency back up!! Only problem is she isnt very street leagle! But I can always call on Scottie Wheels and his WS-6!!!
