Anyone going to the New England Summer nationals?
I plan on going to it everyday. One of the day's I'll be taking my parents S351 and joining a cruise of Saleens going to the show.I was hoping to be taking the '88. But it probaly won't be ready.
The other day's I'll be there in my T/A. I may enter the car in the burnout if I can get some tires to destroy. I did it a couple years ago downtown and I did a killer burnout for about 2 minutes and at one point you could'nt see the car.
But this year I think I want to do a burnout in the park during the day.
Anyone interested in doing a F-body cruise to the event?
Heres a link to the site. It's a little cheaper if you pre-register

To register you need to go to the crown Plaza hotel downtown. Even if you register online you still need to go to the Crown plaza to get the card for the winshield otherwise they won't let you in the park without the card.
If you register your car you are eligable for the burnouts if you like and everything else and you get 2 wristbands.
They changed the registration page this year. But it looks like the pre registation at $35 is for all the days and 1 day is $25.
But its worth registering even if you only plan on going to watch. Parking down there in a regular lot is $15 and you may have to park blocks away and then you will have to buy wristbands to get in at $5 each so the $25 registration is'nt bad at all.

"Cartoon Characters for the kids will be roaming the park plus amusements downtown"
I hope they are not setting up those aweful amusement park rides downtown again like they did a few years back.... Hope those "amusements" are the stunt show and the like.

Will probably see you around... Taking your car? Living on campus? I grew up walking distance from WSC and just bought a house about a mile away. Monday nights in the fall, you will want to check out Mark's Cruise Nights in Granby, CT.
