So, I wake up this morning at 11:15, and I am really happy because Im getting my car back today, after its been in the body shop for two weeks, getting repaired. So anyways, im just waking up, and I go downstairs to watch some TV and have some breakfast. So far my day is going good, but then I get a phone call on my cell. I dont recognise the number, so I answered it. "Hey kendal its Jason calling from paul's body shop...how are you this morning?" I replied, "Im doing great, and im really excited I get my car back today" So he says "Well the reason im calling you is because I realized when I changed ur headlight on the drivers side, it wasnt the same one as the passenger side, and I had to order another headlight, and it wont be here until tomorrow" I say "Well im going out of town tomorrow, so I wont be able to leave it there" he says "Okay you can bring it back sometime next week, and I will fix it for you" I said "Okay not a problem" (even though this place is an hour away from my house) He says its nothing somebody would really notice, but I will notice because it's my car. He said one of the lights is kinda foggy, and the other one is brand new and clear. So im going to go pick it up today as soon as my fiance gets home. So then I drive to my old job to pick up my last paycheck since I got laid off next week. When I get there I talk to my old boss, and she says i completely forgot to put in your hours, and the owner that cuts my check is on vacation and wont be back until next monday. Well now I have to wait until next thursday for my check, even thogh I have bills to pay. Dont really know what to do? In the state of massachusetts, can they write you a personal check or give me a loan or something? I really was depending on this paycheck to pay a couple of my bills, since I dont have a job anymore, and Im out looking for one. anybody have advice for me?
