Anyone in the boston area...

Anyone in the boston area willing to sign me off 20 hours of community service or know someone who will. Its to get open campus in HS. 40 hours are required to graduate and 20 hours are required jr year for open campus. It wasnt a big deal since I didnt have any free blocks this quarter anyways but next quarter I do and I need those 20 hours. If your close enough to my town I will do the work. Im 10 miles north of boston. Wanted to do something with cars but its gotten down to the time were I just need the hours. Someone please help me out.

Yes I know it sounds low but being told you have to do "community service" to graduate. Its a voluntary thing. Someone help an fbod driver out?

I can't help you but I would like to say that "forced volunteerism" is neither altruistic nor noble.

I feel SO sorry for you!

It would be better if the teachers spent their 3 months off doing it.

Alright well I figured out what Im doing. I talked to the cop that patrols our school about working on cars. I thought I wouldnt be able to because of insurance reasons but I guess he said I could. This doesnt bother me at all since its learning to do something I like so Im getting something out of it. Also my boss when younger did work at the police station for community service and he said it was great cause all the cops got to know him and never hastled him. I like that a lot cause everyone screws up and does a burnout at the wrong time. Maybe Ill even be able to turn it into a part time job after my hours are done? Who knows.

Sure it's for school. Sounds like you're on probation with the law to me buddy

It wouldn't have anything to do with those burnouts you were speaking of now would it?

LoL it honestly is thats the weird thing. Ive been pulled over 3 times twice in another town once and another state. Got 1 ticket, payed it. My town Ive never had trouble but its just extra insurance incase I do something wrong. Ill scan a report card if youd like. It says how many hours you have done.
