3rd gen exhaust routing

Can any 3rd gen guys point me to some pics of the undercarriage up front? I am interested in how the exhaust is routed. This past weekend using Jim's lift I got under my first 3rd gen. This car was an 82 and it already had full length headers. But the exhaust was a total hack job.... It looks to me like the stock exhaust would kick out to right behind the passenger front wheel....

Thanks,
Joe

Does it actually run outside the frame rail? That would be one difference from a 4th gen...

yes it goes outside the framerail. actually most aftermarket Y-pipes can be seen from the front passenger side wheelwell, When the car is on the ground.
