Is the Zex good for modded car?

I recently got a 306 cam, and stage 2 heads installed on my 96 Z28, and I was looking into the nitrous route. A comment made by another reader in an earlier post caught my eye.

"The MAJOR problem with the Venom setup, and one for which I have never heard a definitive answer is the very simple fact that since they use pulse widths to add fuel, what happens to people who have modded their cars and generally are getting close to or over 100% duty cycle just running NA? Where do they expect to get the extra fuel from??????

In my opinion, the Venom sucks big time for modded cars. Might work somewhat on stockers, but in my opinion, putting N2O on a 100% stock car is just a simple band-aid that will bring nothing but trouble."

I know this post is about the Venom kit, but would this comment apply to the LT1 zex kit?

Thanks,

Alex

Check out www.zex.com , they have a new zex kit made ESPECIALY for a LT1 car. It has an external fuel pump that comes with the kit. That is where the extra fuel comes from.

OOPS, major oops. Just remembered the lt1 zex kit is also a dry kit . Fuel enrichment would still come from the engines' fuel injectors. Sorry. What a dumbass I am.

Get a wet kit, that will take care of your fuel problem.

If you get a wet kit your DCs will actually drop at WOT when you spray.
