Wiring up wot switch, what's are three prongs for, don't I only need two?
I'm finishing up my install and all I have left to do is wire up the switches. I never got any insturctions with my kit, so here go's let me know if anything is incorrect.
12v(off alternator post) to arming switch and arming swich to wot throttle switch, and wot throttle switch to solenoid and slolenoids to ground. Please let me know if this is correct.
Onto my original question why are there three prongs coming off my wot switch? I checked them with a dvom and here's what I got.
Sorry I don't have a digital camera but if you've seen one you'll know what I'm talking about. 1and2 are open when the switch isn't depressed but when it is they close. Here's the part I don't get 1and3 are always closed? Is the third one just extra or something? So I'll run the power from the switch to terminal one(the offset one) and run the power to the noids from terminal 2 and ground them. If I'm doing something wrong here please let me know. Don't need to blow up my motor.
Thanks
Brad

The WOT switch only has two connections, it sounds like the ones you're calling 1 and 2. I don't really know what you're calling the third, but there's nothing tricky, you just have an open circuit, or a closed one if the switch is depressed.
