Will my 94 LT1 handle 100shot safely?

I been running 50 shot for a while and I dont want to over do it and blow my motor up. My car has 160k but it has always been maintain perfectly with every 3k oil change and just 2 week ago did a tune up and gap the spark plus at .040 So would I be fine to run that?? I m using a NX wet system so let me know guys if I'll be good or not. Everything is pretty much stock, good working fuel pump.

I think the drag racing section had a post on "high mileage stock internal LT1s" that may help you decide.

115,000 otherwise stock TH350 here.

i've seen ppl running 150-175 shots on cars over 150k miles with just basic bolt ons and upgraded ignitions. and most of these cars were taken to the track and beat on hard and often. it should handle the 100 shot like a champ but things can always go wrong.

i've got 105k on my 94 and i just picked up my NX wet kit two days ago. i'm going to spray 100 until i do the ignition and then i might go up to 150.

I've got over 100K on mine and I'm spraying a 100 shot. I did add a high pressure fuel pump and I have some safety stuff as well. Fuel PSI gauge, N2O gauge, wide open throttle switch, window switch and a retard box. I also have a fuel pressure safety switch, but I disconnected it because it was giving me some problems.

What plugs are you running? NGK TR6 or Autolite 104 gapped at .040 would be fine. No such thing as a safe power adder....you can make it "safer" by using a fuel pressure switch ,WOT switch, and a window switch.

If its your daily driver and you have no other way to get around I would be very cautious with any nitrous at all. My car was down for 3mo when I popped a piston with a 100 shot(I had all safty stuff too...It happens)....The Z is not my daily driver and I had cash in reserve for the forged 383 so it wasnt a big deal.

Well over the weekend I squeeze the 100shot and the car took it very good so hopefully it stay like that. It didnt stumble or backfire so Im staying at 100 due to my miles also 160k so im happy with 100shot.
