Wide open throttle switch install

O.k I just got the switch in and I'm wondering if anyone has pictures of how they installed there's. I've been looking at it and what I have to choose from for installation and can't figure out where to put it. Any help would greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You can go here to see where/how the WOT switch is mounted although this isn't the generic bracket in the pics

I don't have pictures but i used the supplied bracket, bent it all up, and mounted it under my gas pedal. Makes for a clean install.

Did you mount it on the actually pedal rod itself or to the floor board?

I mounted mine inside the black cover for the throttle cable and stuff. I think it is hide pretty well, you don't notice it unless you really look.

NOS sells and electronic WOT switch that you can just patch into the TPS wiring. A few years ago, there was someone who made a similar module, and it was adjustable. The link no longer works, but I think they are out there.

That 11.16 was Not with the Big 250 or was it a 300 shot (I cant remember), either way he never got a full run in with the big shot. Should hit low 10s. Did you checked out Freds Page and check out his wish list?
If he gets that wish list done or more than half way done, he may get kicked out of the track for running 9s.

Thx,
Claude

Yes, it ran 11.16.....

...at 127.6mph on a 125-shot. 3,760# race weight. It's set up for the 275-shot, but I've never run it that way at the track. With only a 125, the convertor won't flash like its supposed to, and the rpm doesn't get high enough to fire the juice until its way out of the hole. I've seen 127mph cars run mid-10's, so that's probably the kind of numbers it would run on the 125-shot, with the right setup. With the full 275-shot, the 800ft-lb will have the convertor at 5Krpm the instant the pedal hits the floor.

It's also run an 11.5 on straight motor.... I think Claude saw that one at SLP Day at Englishtown last year.

Maybe a month from now I'll have the results with the 275-shot....
