i know this is a repost of a recent thread, but i want to be more specific, i want to know if anyone blew up their motor on a 150 shot, and if they did why? i am planning on soon doing a 150 nx wet shot on my 94lt1 with a genx2 kit, msd window switch, pressure guage, and all the other safety stuff, and i also want to do a racetronix fuel pump and msd ignition is there anything else im forgeting that will help keep my motor good? i was also thinking a fuel pressure regulater to make sure the fuel pressure is dialed in exactly. by the way the motor has like 60k on it

from my research, with the racetronix kit supplying good amount of fuel for you, running a 150 shot should be nothing for the LT1. there are plenty of ppl running 150 shot's on 100k miles+ and still lasting

 

yea thanks ive pretty much come to that conclusion now, i just wanted to know if there were people who have blown them up tho with a 150 shot

im thinking of the direct port nx kit too b/c its more upgradable and not THAT much more money

 

now that you mention it, i cant think of any LT1 blowing up on a 150. not that i know of anyway.
