i just got it from jegs, where is the ideal mounting spot. also, they didn't send a harness. is it extra? what's the part number? i have a 93 z28. thx.

 

Yeah, the harness is extra, you will need the 8876 harness. People mount their boxes in different places, some underhood, some in the glovebox, and some in the backseat like myself.

 

since i have occassional passengers in the back seat & i use my glove box, where under the hood is an ideal spot?

 

People usually mount it right above the fuse block on the drivers side strut tower. If you do a search, I'm sure you can pull up the previous posts where people have posted pics. of how they have it run exactly.
