Nitrous kit rarely works!

I have a dynotune nitrous kit with a BMN window switch and the nitrous seems to only work the first time or 2 that I spray. Everytime I test the kit in a bucket it works! What could cause this to happen? Is my wot switch not working properly or could it be the BMN window switch?

My friend with an 03 Cobra ran a dynotune dry kit. Same problems. Turned out the solinoid (sp?) took a major dump. If you have another one give it a try. When you test the system electrically, and activate the WOT can you hear the noid clicking?

Well, when you test it in a bucket what are you bypassing? Do you have a fuel pressure safety switch? If so, it could be set too close to the actual fuel pressure. Tell us more about your setup/features/settings.

It could be several different things. First if you have a fuel pressure safety check it. Then check and make sure the microswitch is making full contact. If all that is well. If that is working fine then test the system with the window switch. You can run a LED ito the car to atch to make sure the sindow switch is working properly. If the LED does not light up during the test its whe window switch.

I do not have a FPSS installed and the wot switch is making full contact. How should I go about testing the window switch? Do I have to have the car running to test the window switch?

How did you test it in a bucket? And yes, the car would need to be running and meeting the window switch RPM in order to activate.

I disconnect the lines from the nozzle, started the car and went wot for a split second and it worked. I tried to spray the car like 10 times today after rewiring my tach wire to the bmn and it didn't work once. I have a feeling that the bmn is the culprit. I will try and test it later tonight.
