When using 200hp Single shot

Does anyone use gapless rings? I have conflicting data whether or not N2O and gapless rings play well together. When I built my carbed 406 for a 250 shot, I used file fit rings and honed to get the piston to wall clearance right. Manufacturers of the rings say it is ok, N2O techs say its not choice. I have questioned locals, same answers. Yes/No. Is there a right answer? For now I am leaning file fit again.

I "also" don't have a yes/no answer for you, but I always go with file fit for nitrous engines and iv'e never had an issue

I have always run file fit rings with n2o engines but if someone has run zero gap rings and run 200+HP n2o LMK later Clint.
