Arrow When to squirt the juice at launch?

I want to know when most of you real drag racers inject the N2O with an A4? My new converter will flash to 4140 rpm. Is it at this point I add the squeeze, a little after or a little before?

Now remembering when we add N2O BEFORE top stall RPM we are making more torque which will make the converter stall higher. You need 2000-2500 rpm between the stall and shift point.

Sounds like setting the N20 window switch at 4200-6300 would be best for me. ANY OPINIONS??

play around with it, see how your car reacts, but u should ahve no problem spraying off the line....the rule is dont spray below 3000, i learned the hard way....but since u can stall to 4K plus off the line, flip the switch and drop the throttle!

4200 sounds good, and set it to shut off a lil b4 your shift points.

Its a traction issue IMO. I would leave the Window Switch at 3000rpms. So long as you are at a safe RPM level, and can get traction, you can never engage the system "too soon".

Are you doing a progressive controller Kevin? If so, it would be well worth it to see how the car reacts with a few milliseconds worth of delay on the nitrous hit coming out of the hole. Just to let the suspension plant the tires and THEN have the extra power transfer. I am looking to do the same thing so it doesn't just shock the hell out of the tires by activating the system from a stand-still...ya know brotha? If you're just doing the window switch, I would start by engaging it at the stall rpm. Goodluck testing, hopefully I'll see ya at the track soon.
