WHat's safe for an LS1

I've heard alot of people talk about whats a safe shot to run on a stock Lt1 but not very many poeple talk about the LS1

i have a stock ls1 besides the mods in the sig what would be a very safe shot to run i was hoping for a 100 but i don't know remeber this is on stock fuel pump and every thing

i'm just gonna do a few more mods and i'm looking at ether N20, a TC or 3:73 gears mabe 2 of those but i think the n20 would help the most

thanks

You can run a 100 shot Dry or Wet with no issues. The 98's have bigger injectors.

I ran a 150 Wet for almost a Year.

Run TR6's @ .040. The basic kti does not come with purge.
Check out the NX Switch Panel, fits right in the cubby hole above the ashtray. It will handle, arming, heater, purge and bottle opener.

the1turkey, let me know what you are interested in and I will make you an excellent deal on a new NX system. I have everything you need in stock. I also have the switch panel that ED mentioned in stock and I would highly recommend that for a very clean installation. Let me know if I can help in any way. Thanks

I personally would recommend a NX Stage 1(20920) system. It is a wet system that is adjustable from 35-150hp. It is a pretty easy installation, its well proven, and it safe. You could install it and start with a small shot and work your way up as your comfort level increases. The system comes with a WOT micro switch and a window switch would a good choice for safety. A 100 shot will make a very big difference and you will be hooked as soon as you give it try! You are going at this the right way, if you be careful and pay attention to the details you will get a lot of performance for your dollar that will last a long time. Thanks

That is the kit I used. You might want to add the GENX-II option later on.

I would also suggest getting a Window Switch so you don't spray through the shifts to save your tranny.

If you don't run slicks you should ok. Plus an A4 is easier on the rear.
