What are your comments on the NX kits?

I have a hook up on the NX kits but I wanted to know how well they perform compared to NOS and TNT.

The quality of teh NX noids is better than NOS IMO, I have exp. with TNT. But lets just say the 5-6 friends that I have running N20 use NX.

I have had NO probelms to date with any of my NX equipment.

I use a NOS system. HAd it for over a year, absolutly NO problems with the solenoids....lol the noids are better......hahhahaha thats silly.

I have heard NX kits underperform their rated power gains.

My buddy did a bench dyno on a 350 SMC with a nx wet system rated at 200HP.....it only gave a 173 HP gain...Thats 27 less HP than advertised.

For the hell of it we switched it to a similarly rated NOS brand settup (200HP) and it gained an additional 32 HP over the NX kit........

Im glad I own a NOS system and not an NX system

Whats so bad bout a NX kit? Seems to be the most popular on this board though? Maybe for a huge shot it isnt the most popular but how many people build their car for that big of a shot?

I have NX,had NOS and Nitrous Works.

NX has bigger solenoids than a comparable NOS kit. As far as being over rated,i NEVER heard that.
There are ALWAYS too many variables when dynoing RWHP with nitrous.
as usual,ask 10 people,you will get 10 different answers,use what you like.

I gained 10 mph in the 1/4 with my NX wet kit jetted to a 100 shot. Using the rough equation where every mph = 10 more hp I think their jettings are right on. BTW, that was not spraying outta the hole either.

Nitrous Works

I'm soo far the ONLY one here using the Nitrous Works universal kit with the "PRO" solenoids with the dual purge. I guess I will really have to wait until the weather breaks to let you know how it works?

Thumbs up comments on the NX kits

The NX kits are great , I have a 150 shot on a stock motor running 11s. My car only ran mid 13's on the motor,I think you would be satisfied.

18 MPH gain with an NX 100 wet shot and their beautiful Stage 6 plate setup. Everything from their bottle heater, remote opener, safety switch, throttle switch, to the solenoids works perfectly.

I'm the 3rd local owner of this kit so it's had plenty of use and several hundred pounds of nitrous ran through it.

Currently i'm shoving 150 worth into my stock 305 engine LOVE IT!!!

Nx kit I'm running a 75 shot right now and it took more then a second off my 1/4. Many of the guys I know switch from others to the Nx, both plates and nossles. My kit came with huge noids, the racer I by my nitrous from said he thought they were good for atleast a 300 shot if I wanted too Nah better not on a stock bottom end.
