Re: What to spray

interesting that they talked you into a wet kit. I also have a booster pump for the fuel, and am wanting to upgrade my fuel pump soon. there is a never ending list for improvements.
I have the Mallory 685 with a msd wiring harness, love the 685 for hitting the nitrous and retarding the timing.

Re: What to spray

If I boost octane to say around 95-96 would that keep me from having too pull any, I dont really want to pull timing for my tune, I wont be spraying all the time and i want the car to perform on motor also

You don't pull the timing in your tune. You optimize the tune for running without nitrous. To run nitrous, you use an external timing retard box, pulling timing only when the nitrous system is armed. Take a look at the MSD Digital-6.

Re: What to spray

how were you going to actuate you nitrous?

If you get a box it will do it for you. the box will bring the nitrous in at what ever rpm you decide, usually above 3000 rpm. at the same time it will retard the timing however many degrees you program it for.

it will also shut the nitrous off at what ever rpm you decide. at any time during the run you can stop using nitrous and the timing will be back to normal.

the box will also retard the timing for easier starts
also multiple sparks will improve gas mileage and horse power.

plus more.
