What jets are you guys running for various hp settings?

I get different answers everywhere and dont have enough money to buy tons of jets to experiment! NX tells me different from what the online calculators say. Is this just to cover their ***? I would like some safety margin(rich) I can take a hp loss for safety.

I live at high altitude if that makes any difference, i wouldnt think so.

Anyways, i wanted to run anywhere from 75-175. Currently I have a 26, 33, 41, and 52 jet.

http://www.azsupersport.com/nitrousjetcalc.asp

Tells me for 43 PSI and 900 N2O Pressure I should use:

HP Fuel N2O

75 23 41
100 26 47
125 29 53
150 32 58
175 34 62

NX tells me these(I dont know what pressures though!)

HP Fuel N2O

100 28 52
125 33 57
150 35 62
175 41 73

Is 900 PSI a good choice for bottle pressure? What do you guys use for pressure and jets?

Re: What jets are you guys running for various hp settings?

My list for the LT1 is

HP N2O/Fuel
50 35/20
75 41/24
100 52/33
150 62/35

I believe on a 100 that a 52/28 combo may hit harder from what I have been told.

Is it a stock LT1? Probably wouldn't do more than a 100 shot, and I think bottle pressure should be 1000-1100.

No its a forged 383. Is there a "best" value for bottle pressure? Isnt too much pressure hard on the noids?

Think most people will say right around 1000 is good.

900 psi bottle pressure is perfect. What fuel pressure are you running? I would recomend 50 ish.....

HP N2O/Fuel
75 41 20
100 52 26
125 57 31
150 62 34
175 67 38
200 73 38

The altitude makes no difference with respect to the nitrous. Rich costs a few hp but may save your motor. With your FP and 900psi, using the 41 for nitrous, I'd use the 26 for fuel. It would be a bit rich and give you ~75hp. With the 52, you could use the 33 for fuel. Again, that's a little big but it would be safe and net you ~125hp.

What jets would you recommend that I buy in order to have 75, 100, 125, 150, and 175 shots?

Should I just go off of the calculator online?

So 41 and 26 for 75 shot, 52 and 33 for 125. How about a 100, 150 and 175?

Thanks for all the help! Hopefully I can "reuse" some of the lower nitrous jets for higher fuel shots? That way i dont have to buy so many jets

also, are these rwhp numbers or flywheel? I was hoping for rearwheel numbers.

I was going to mention it looks like one is FWHP settings and one is RWHP jets.

I have also found online calculators to be a little lean as mentioned

I use the nx recommended jets for the 150 shot. And picked up 141 at the tires. This left me very rich on these jets with stock fuel pressure. I'd use what nx recommnds and call it a day.
