What jet to use for a goal
Hey all this is probably one of those questions where I look like an idiot but ohh well. Just got a NX kit with GEN XII and MSD window switch. NA I run consistant 12.8's at 105-106 with 1.8-1.9 60 ft. two Questions.
What shot for LOW 12's ideally 12.0 (don't want a roll cage just yet
)
Two with the sig below, 3200 stall converter what rpm pills should I use on the window switch??
Car has 95K and the whole top end was done about 3K ago.
Thanks in advance can't wait to get it all hooked up!!

With the NX kit, I would say first start with the 75 shot. That would bring you down about 12.2 / 12.3 area maybe lower. If that doenst work then the 100 shot would do the job and put you in there, but more like 11.8 / 11.9 area. By the the way, does are good time you turning on NA for a LT1.

the 75 shot should get you in the 12.0's, if you can get it to hook. I assume you got a n2o pressure ga with it, let's get a fp ga too, at least one for under the hood. I've got some extra arm switches and relays. You know what you want to do for mounting? Keep it hidden?? (No dear, that's not nitrous) You better keep it hidden from your old lady!
Come over after work some night this week and we'll get planned out.

Bob, my kid is in town till wednesday am. I'm up by 6am or so, but the ball and chain is here till 8-8:30, anytime after that. I think we can do this in a coupla half days, I'm still at half speed from the surgery last week.
Man you crack me up on the woman references! Well how about Thurs at around 10? Don't have the kit yet but still need to check out your roll bar and do a little planning

By 3200 stall, does that mean its a 3200 stall COnverter, or goes to 3200 on the footbrake? Anywhere over 2500 should be fine, and so the engaging rpm of the WS is a moot poitn, use a 2500 chip.....
Beyond that the high RPM chip will depend on your shift rpm and Rev Limiter. Preferrably you want the Window to cut the spray a couple hundred after the shift, and the Rev Limiter a Couple hundred after that....
Some say Cut the Spray just before the shift, it may be easier on the tranny... I dunno, I'd rather be spraying then losing time.

Bob, thursday is fine with me, we can get started on the wiring harness, how do you want to run the supply line, inside the car down the pass side then thru the pcm grommet?
Hey Kurtis, Bob's tranny is built, and should be able to foot brake to 2500 or more and if we just do a 50 shot then shifting on the nitrous should be ok, course I don't mind breaking Bobbie's trans, I just don't want to break mine

LOL nice Steve I can't afford to break anything right now!!!
Its about a 2300-2500 foot brake stall, it should be able to handle the shifting with the N2O, if not the builder warrantied it for a year no matter what and he knew that I was going to be adding a power adder!
Steve on another note did you install a trans cooler?

I've got a cooler ready to go in. I thought about a dual pass with fan, but not enuff room, so I got a single pass rated at 18k gvw. The return line on my trans is smaller
than 5/16, almost looks metric, like 10mm or somthing, the cooler is made for 3/8 hose, so I need to finger something out.
