Post TNT bottle quality, TB plate fitment

I've got a couple of easy questions maybe some of you TNT users can help me with.

A friend of mine purchased one of the early LS1 wet kits from TNT some time ago. The only complaint he and I both had was the bottle quality. The finish was not as high of quality as expected, and the valve "feel" for lack of better wording left something to be desired. Overall, it didn't feel as solid as say, the NOS bottle. Didn't feel very "positive" when opening and closing the valve. I understand that when you buy one of the first kits a company offers, there are going to be some problems. I'm just curious if the bottle finish and valve "quality" have improved any.

I've also heard that in order to run the TNT LT1 kit, the intake manifold must be clearanced for proper fitment of the TB plate. I'm not too crazy about this part of the install, however. Exactly how much grinding was needed, and was it noticeable cosmetically while the kit was installed, and when the kit is removed?

I appreciate any input you TNT users can provide. Thanks

No, I have not found any quality issues on my TNT kit. The bottle has a very nice black powdercoated finsh, and the valve has a great feel. I have no issues with that.

As for the TB plate...
You dont have to grind it. It fits well and there is no vacuum leak. I at first thought that there would be a problem, but once it tightens down it is OK. If you have a problem, i have heard of other people using 2 gaskets and that fixes it without having to grind it.

Buy the kit, you wont be disapointed!!!!!!!

The bottle is fine.

I had to grind my nozzles a tad bit, but since they are stainless steel is was no problem. The kit is a nice kit minus the fitmient problems with the plate and the performance is awesome.
