What fuel to use in the Fuel cell for 300 shot?

I have been running 200 shot and had 110 in the tank and 110 in the nitrous cell. Would or should I put C16 in the nitrous cell?

i run c16 in my nitrous cell and pump in the tank. right now my shot is much smaller then a 300 only because me fuel sysetem (for the engine) needs an upgrade. i just feel the higher octane the more security i have.

You all realize that even if the octane of a mix of two fuels is just a product of the proportion of each (and it may actually be lower) that if 1/4 of the fuel was 110 and 3/4's 93 octane that you would have the equivalent of just 97 octane? I think C16 in both if it were my motor and I expected it to last, but certainly C16 in the secondary system is a good ldea.

Well, how would you calculate the octane when you have two separate fuel systems?

If you mix equal amounts of 95 and 105 octane fuel you do not necessarily get a fuel with 100 octane. It may be less. But assuming that the final octane IS a based on a simple proportion (the 100 octane example) you need to keep in mind that the nitrous is not going to preferentially react with the high octane fuel. Using two separate fuel systems is essentially equivalent to mixing the fuel. It all mixes together in the combustion chamber.

Even if the amount of fuel supplied from the N2O system was equal to the amount from the main system, you would only be increasing the final octane by three points (110 to 113) by using C16 in the second system. And that is assuming that the mixture works like the 100 octane example above.

I agree if you mix 93 from the main system and 116 from the nos system you would probably end up at 103.

The part i don't understand is if you mix 95 and 100....how could it ever be less than 95...the lowest fuel rating already ?

I didn't mean to say that. Only that a 1:1 mixture of 95 and 100 might be less than 97.5 and would almost never be more.

Just don't run leaded gas if you have cats or any o2 sensors.

Try C23 or VP 's new fuel NOS. Both will make more power and run safer then C16. Check the specs on each fuel and think about it. The slower the burn isn't alweays better. JMHO.
