What do you guys know about instalation of N20 and the best times to use it...I know if you use it at the wrong time you can really screw up that run...how many shots of NOS do u guys have and sizes of bottles...

 

as far as when to use it, alot of poeple will put window switches set so the n2o wont work before 2-3k rpm. others will just not spray below 2-3k.

i was told a while back that as long as the butterflies in the TB are at WOT, or completely open, its ok to spray. now in my car i dont have a stall, so just leave off idle. so, as soon as ive ive the peddle to the floor i go to the button. actually, its more like at the same time. thats the way ive been doing it since i got my kit (3-4 months) and thats the way ill keep doing it.

if youve got a M6, most guys ive talked to will get the rpms up where they want, and actually go to the button just before dumping the clutch.



NOTE: these two methods are prolly the "ruffest" way to engage n2o and are the best way to get the best gains. however, if your driveline isnt up to the task, or you dont have propper traction (DR's/slicks) then i would prolly try somthing else.

It's not hpw many "shots" it's mostly a single shot unless it is a 2 stage system.
I personally run a 150 shot (or did). I use 10lb Bottles,and usually get 5-6 races per bottle.


Installing it is fairly straight forward.

 

Thats pretty good amount of races for N20 i guess but what kinda races 1/4 or bigger

 

i only race 1/4.

when i used to street race i got more due to the fact i never used nitrous for the entire run.

 

so true, only spray it when i'm gettin pulled, then i'll let off the juice once I'm ahead, .

 

That is pretty true because that way you save it and you can have more numbers of races with the ammount you have
