buy the stock kit. you really don't need the upgrade kit. You will probably want a bottle heater and a purge. With an automatic you really don't need a window switch. You will need to buy NGKTR64177 plugs gapped at .35. I run msd wires and a msd 6Al ignition box. I don't have a fuel pressure safety switch you really don't need one. I spray a 175 shot through a stock motor. If you need anymore help let me know. You should be able to get everything for around 750.00

i like the sound of $750 for the whole package...is that including a new MSD 6AL or something similar w/ new NGK plugs and wires? that sounds nice, where do u suggest i look for the best prices? thanx man. anyone else have any input about this whole thing and especially about the Gen2X upgrade?

thanx every1,
jake

the basic nitrous kit should run 500. msd 6al box 150, wires 60 and plugs 20. Thats around 750 there but of course there's shipping and stuff. All the genx upgrade kit is is a bottle heater, purge, gauge, fuel pressure safety switch, and a blow down tube. If you have the money right away then get it but none of the stuff in there is really necessary to run your kit right away

Here is the basics that I would go with -

20920-10
LS1 Nitrous Express with 10# bottle 50-75-100-150hp Adjustable Kit
$559.99

15509_
Nitrous Express Nitrous Pressure Gauge 0-1500psi
$44.99 - always good to know your bottle pressure. For best performance it should be in the 900-1050 psi range.

15607_
Nitrous Express Filter and stainless steel hose
$49.99 - like any other filter - very important.

15940
NX bottle warmer
$199.99 - If your in a warm climate you may be able to get away without this for the summer but it helps maintain your bottle temp/pressure.

NGK TR6 plugs - these are one heat range colder than stock and gapped at .035 - Recommended for nitrous or supercharged motors
$2.29 each

6200_
MSD 6A Ignition Control
$189.99

$1063.27.

Take out the bottle warmer and that would bring the total down to $863.28 and there is a $50. discount this week on the kit - $813.28 and if you order the rest of the items online that will save you another $15. to get the total under $800. It just depends on which accessories you would really like to go with.
