What Better... Wet Or Dry Shot?

Looking at running either the LE 1 head/cam with 125-150 shot or the LE 2 head/cam with 100 shot. I currently have 42lb/hr injectors with 255 walbro pump. What would be the best way to go wet or dry shot. what are some pros and cons of each? I was actually looking at running the dry shot originally but have heard a lot of good things about the wet shot.. but i'm not to familiar with it, if I go with the wet shot would I still be able to run all the safety stuff such as FPSS, WOT switch, and the Window switch??

First off what all's been done to your motor....why you running 42# injectors?
Which is better wet or dry...its all a matter of opinion...I went wet because I felt I had less of a chance of damaging motor with a wet sysem. Not that if you don't set up a wet system correctly you won't damage anything...you will. Yes you can run all the safety devices you mentioned...I am.

How do you figure there is a lesser chance of damaging a motor using a motor with the wet system?

With a dry system you are depending on the Dry kit controll to tell your PCM that its time to spray and now we need to raise the fuel pressure to get the fuel into the motor. That's why they reccomend going with larger injectors on a dry system. The wet kit does it all for you at the mixing point. I think ( just my opinion) that it would be easier to run to lean on a dry kit.

Re: What Better... Wet Or Dry Shot?

wet system is the better way to go,you need the added fuel to get to the cyl, just to cool them off and there is NO WAY that a dry system can do that by simply adding more fuel to the injectors...the BEST nitrous company will not even entertain the ideas of dry n2o(NX).....
HOWEVER,if you have a DFI system a dry system can be manipulated to work alot safer..
wet systems do not hammer your bearings and rings near as hard as a dry system!!!!!!!

couple more question... so does that mean that everytime you want to spray with the wet system you have to readjust the fuel pressure and with the dry the pcm does it for you? i think i'll prolly just with the wet kit , because it does sound safer.. But how does that work with the wet kit and adding the extra 2 or 3 fuel injectors? how do you hook those up? do they come with the kit?

There aren't any extra injectors with the wet kit. It sprays nitrous and fuel through 1 nozzle.
