I always hear wet shots and dry shots, but I am not real sure what the difference is between the two. Can someone tell me what the difference between the two is, and which would be better with forged induction.
A wet kit injects both nitrous and fuel into an engine usually through the same nozzle. wet kits are more complex and are almost impossible to hide. Wet kits are also known for their violent back-fires, which could destroy an engine or just bend throttle blades and burn mafs. Wet kits also "hit" harder, not produce more power with same jetting, but come in more violently, sometimes lighting up tire when you through the switch.
A dry kit injects only nitrous and then fools the computer to add more fuel via injectors. Dry kits are much safer, "hit" less violently, and are easy to hide.
But a dry kit sometimes doesn't like built motors, and you can't use a dry kit for really big nitrous shots like 250-350+.
Dry kits = 50-175hp, unless you use cheater solenoids.
Wet Kits = 100-500+hp, for the serious nitrous guys.
