wet or dry?
wet or dry?
Which is the safest? I figure I can get as much power out of either as I want I just want too know which is most often less likely to have something go wrong, like a clogged fuel solenoid or something. Also in the dry kits how does the engine know it needs to add fuel, do the o2 sensors pick up the extra o2? In that case isnt running just nitrous through the engine bad? I am noty wanting ot run anything over 150 just want to know what you guys think. Also what plugs and ignition system works best. Is a window switch something that only allows the nitrous to acome on between certain rpms at wide open throttle when the master switch is armed? What other safety devices are there?
I have seen a few cars go boom with a 150 DRY shot. The reason being is the stock injectors lock up,and wont spray fuel with the increased pressure.
Dry systems generally use a vacuum reference to the pressure regulator to increase fuel.
Wet kits are fine, with the normal safety stuff.
the ONLY way to run a dry system IMHO is to do so with an aftermarket fuel injection that runs BIG injectors.
Injuneer has just that type of system. Reason for aftermarket injection is to be able to fine tune a BIG injector to run decent.
