Total Cost

For the holidays, I am going to get nitrous. I was looking at the wet kit that nx supplies. The kit is about 550, and I am looking to spend the least money possible, (poor high school kid). So what is the least I can spend on nitrous and still make it safe and effective? Also besides the kit what will i need to complete the install and to spray? I am a newbie to nitrous so please dont flame.

So, basically it should cost around 700 for everything minus the install?

The install is a piece of cake, the board can help you out, it'll save you some $$$ for other mods! But yeah, you could do it for about that if you do a basic kit.

ok....
you said you don't want to spend to much money, but how much would you end up paying if you blow the motor if something fails. I know you want to hurry and get to spraying b/c you have some money on your hands, but take my advice and be patient. Get the window switch, fpss, cold plugs and wot. It's not worth skipping something cuz you didn't have the money then end up paying more b/c something went wrong. Now you can skip the bottle warmer and remote bottle opener, but don't skip saftety.

It depends on how well you want your set up to work. The bare basics and still stay safe would be the following.
1.20920-10 GM efi kit
2.Fuel pressure safety switch
3.MSD window switch.
4.pills for window switch
5.NGK TR6 plugs
6.bottle heater-It winter
7.Bottle pressure gauge

You might also want to look into a ignition such as the mallory which can retard your timing, and I believe has a built in window switch.
