Time to set the record....250+ through a stock shortblock

Ok the fogger is complete with the seperate nitrous enrichment fuel cell and pump.

What is the timing I should bump back with
200
250
300

Also I am running a 2 step colder plug right now. Will that be enough?

I just changed the oil with some 20w50 Royal Purple race oil.

Gas will be 100 in the tank and 116 in the cell, everything sound good here?

I am going to start off with the 200 so I can compare numbers to the 200 shot I was doing through my home made dual nozzle kit. Then it will be bumped to 250, if I dont like what I see shes getting the 300!!!

For those that dont know, I have a COMPLETELY STOCK SHORTBLOCK. I love pushing the limits.

Are you using a dual stage or a single stage to hit those numbers?

IMO it won't handle too much using a single fogger setup. Do you have anything else done to the motor, head work, cam, bolt ons? On my heads/cam lt1 with a single stage 150shot i almost hit 600ft lb tq to the rear wheels.

I would do a dual stage setup and seperate the stages with about 500rpms. I'm sure a stock short block will easily take a 250shot and maybe even a 300shot...

What kind of fuel pump are you running?

I sprayed 200 through a 2 bit dual nozzle kit I made and at one point was spraying about 170 through a Dry shot, I dont think I will have any problems with this.

Its a Heads, Nitrous cam and every other bolt on possible. I am at this point thinking about a progressiver controller, but I am undecided.

I'd get a progressive controller or do a dual stage setup.

Was this with a single or dual stage? Rear wheel hp or fly wheel 280hp? Dry or wet kit? Mileage on the motor?

You are more than welcome to ask him all the questions you like.
I do not know his exact setup, just wanted to clear the air that a 250 shot was already being run on a stock block LT1.
