Thinking about Nitrous - few questions
I know these "kits" out there don't really offer everything you need. You still have to consider safety and if you want wet or dry setup. So what sort of prices am I looking at here to have a REAL complete kit put together with 150 shot? Right down to the nuts and bolts? I'd really just like a switch and an RPM trigger, so at 5k RPM it kicks in. I plan on putting this in myself, I just got through installing a new headgasket, I've done motor and clutch swaps before, how long do you think this would take? In other words, how much crap am I getting myself into? Is this really worth it? I guess that would depend on my budget, hopefully no more than 1500..I know the real enthusiasts will say hell yeah, but I'm just looking to get some power when I need it for a decent price. Ignorant and probably redudant questions I'm sure, but I've been trying to research it for the passed few weeks, just had some questions I couldn't find the answers to. Thanks for your input.

Nitrous is the best bang for the $$$ power increase, for sure. The downsides are fairly obvious - it needs to be "on" with nitrous in the bottle to be effective and the nitrous itself can be expensive if you use it a lot. What is "complete" to one person may not be to another. To me it means a bottle heater, window switch, remote opener, and a spare bottle in addition to the basic parts needed for a wet kit. In that case, your $1,500 is about right.
