I have a carbureted setup running a compu-car plate, NOS cheater fuel solenoid and a cheater nitrous solenoid, 4 an feed line and 10 lb bottle. The car ran great with a 64 fuel and 65 nitrous jet, then the bottle heater stuck on and and overpressured the system to the point that the nitrous solenoid wouldn't open. The nitrous solenoid would flow like it had chlamydia after that, so I replaced it. With the new solenoid, the nitrous will hit decent out of the whole, but then starts surging all the way down the track. (it sounds like a podracer) No matter what jet combo or fuel pressure I run, it seems to run the same. I can take the carburetor off of the intake, hit the button and the nitrous sprays down the intake like an animal, nice and consistent. There is no hint of detonation on the plugs. HELP??!!

 

what fuel pressure are you running?? What shot are you running?? Your fuel pressure could be fallin off....I had a problem with my Compucar kit.....My fuel pressure would slightly drop, and it would start to skip......I finally said **** if and sold it and got an NX plate...

Just check to make sure your getting a full connection on the WOT switch...Check your fuel pressure, wiring on everything....probally a small problem....

its actually not my car i posted this for a buddy, but we found the problem, it ended up being the wot switch. thanks for the help anyway.
