Strange problem
Strange problem
The other night when I was out messing around. I hit the juice and just after my car wouldn't pull over 3.5-4k rpm. When I turned the car off and restarted everything was fine again. Would pull hard all the way through 6000. I thouht it was a fluke so I tried it a couple of days later and it did the same thing. Again after shutting the car off and restarting everything seems fine. This problem has got me baffled. I can't figure if it is ignition related or a fuel pump is going out. My system is a NX 150 wet system with the all the extras. I just added a Mallory 685 ignition box the other day. I have a good backgroung in auto electrical so I don't think it is related to any wiring in that area. I have check it over and everything is secure and as it should be.
I tried it again this morning and it worked flawless. I suppose it could be heat related. I did notice my ignition box was real warm. Is it suppose to get that warm inside the car. It's in the glove box. Any insight would be great. I was thinking ignition module, coil, or fuel pump.
