Sprayed for the first time today....

was spraying 125, felt AWESOME. I turned the car sideways in second gear when i first hit it, but I straightened it out and it took off. I think I've probably jetted a little too rich, but I'm gonna keep it that way because I need this motor to stay alive. I'll have dyno numbers on it next week.

I remember the first time I sprayed. 3rd gear at the track I remember wincing as I pushed the button expecting the worst, then feeling the car pick up and start pulling . Awesome feeling .

I sprayed mine for the first time about a week ago. It is addicting. I noticed a pretty good difference while spraying, but I noticed the biggest difference going back to N/A. Man the car felt so slow all motor after a night of messing around on the nitrous.

yeah i can just imagine what n2o feels like on the first time you spray thats why i wanted to ask you guys about it,im gonna get a dry nitrous kit and just do the 100 shot but i wnated to know about the other stuff you need to buy for safety precautions i.e. purge kit and other stuff like that. i know there really is know safe way but there are ways to reduce risks with some other modifications to the nitrous.any help would be great guys thanks

I don't know about using a dry shot........ why don't you use a wet shot to avoid having to change your injectors? Regardless of what you decide to use, run a RPM window switch, WOT switch, and I'd recommend a fuel pressure safety switch.

The diff between a dry and wet kit -- Dry kit sprays just nitrous and relies on the fuel injectors to supply all the fuel. A wet kit sprays a mist of nitrous AND fuel, therefore allowing you to run the stock injectors. If you're running a relatively small shot - up to 150, it's also much safer as you tend to not run the risk of going lean. I'd recommend a wet kit, it's just as easy to install, the only extra line is a fuel line coming off your schrader valve, and that literally takes 2 minutes to hook up. You also need to change your spark plugs. You need to go with a colder (2 steps), copper plug such as autolite 103. If you run the stock plug, you run the risk of burning the platinum tips off and scarring your valves.
