all the talk of 150 shots on stock bottom ends made me decide to do it. i was going to do it on the dyno, but could not get ahold of my friend that owns the dyno. so instead i did it on the street. the first time i did it only pulling 1*. the road was a little damp and engaged it while i was already rolling in 2nd. the tires broke loose immediately. so i tried it the same way in 3rd, to the same avail. i then changed the ignition for 2*, and found a dry road and hammed it from 2nd into 3rd with the system armed. WOW! i got traction, and it was pulling like a ****! hit 4th and kept spraying. it was awesome! tomorrow i will run it on the dyno and log the runs to watch everything. i might even go back to only pulling 1* to see what the logs look like for cool weather. i will post the numbers after i run it on the rollers!

 

1* on a 150 shot I thought you would need at least 2*.

it was good with only 1*, but the weather was cool. had i tried that in hot weather, it could have been disasterous!

Dpending on weather i pull from 0-2* and havent run into problems.I also use 104 unleaded everytime i spray as extra insurance.

My little 305 is having traction problems all the way to the 5500 ROM redline in second gear with the newly introduced NX 150 shot, luckily 3rd gear catches nicely. Shweeeet
