Spray and a problem

was at the track spraying the nitrous

Well changed out all the spark plugs both back cylinders had melted plugs.

new plugs in it has one hell of a poppin sound like a manifold gasket, seems to run fine past like 1500 but at idle it shakes and runs rough.

im thinking about just ordering a set of headers, but i dont think that will fix the problem would the exhaust leak cause that type of probelm?

or a valve etc?

Sounds almost like a fuel distribution problem what nitrous kit are you running? What fuel are you running? How much retard? How much nitrous?

UNIT broke.. Do a compression and or leakdown test. If you melted plugs theres a good chance you knocked a hole in the piston or broke some rings:

I agree had the same thing happen with my stock engine. Popped and the car shut off started up idle really rough but smoothed out above 2000rpms. # 7 piston had lots of chunks missing from it.
