To spray, or not to spray

I am trying to decide wether to spray my lt1 or not. My mods are in my sig and the computer is stock (not tuned). With 145000 miles would it be advisable to try it (with a 100 hp shot or less) or am i just gonna kill it quick. Thanks in advance. Prorac1

wut kinda question is that???? Seriously, if your car runs good, i'd personally hook up a NX 100 shot, such as my system. Get plugs and a ignition. Stock timing is fine as long as you run premium, no detonation here. Also if you want u can run a FPSS so that if your fuel pump fails during spraying it will cut the nitrous, I'd prob run one cuz your fuel pump may be old and tired. I personally am NOT running a FPSS on mine, cuz my pump is fine, and IMO if your fuel pump fails it will be in the 95% chance time that your driving around NA. But it's cheap insurance i guess, i pulled mine because of surging and i have a fp guage..........

after market ing. box
FPSS
these two are almost a must
then you can put a window switch on it too but will most likely just slow you down on a a4 car.
Bigger fuel pump.
1-2 heat range colder plugs I run autolite 103's but you can run 104's if you like
Thats about it I think, if I missed anything point it out.

how do you figure that it could slow down an a4 car. i have nothing but praise for yours and it helped us pick up .3 in the 1/8 cuz the car would spin off the line when you hit the gas. by using the window switch it allowed us to get off the line just enough to keep the tires from spinning and it doesnt cut off the whole way down the track until i take my foot of the gas in my dads car

Window switch is VERY important if you have a stock trans. Spraying through the shifts drastically reduces the transmission's lifespan.
I have never run a window switch, but i also have a BUILT trans (and yes it has lasted for almost 2 years and many, many bottle runs and n/a runs, and street miles).

Good question. Personally....I say if its your only car and a daily driver be very wary adding any power adder. Can you afford the down time and rebiuld if something goes wrong? Dont get me wrong...I love nitrous, but stuff happens and you need to be aware and ready with a plan B.

My plan B is in effect right now and my car has been down for a couple of months...no biggy because its not my daily ride and I was planning a forged stroker before the spray anyway
