Question Spark advance and Knock...

Anyone know the relationship between Spark Advance and Knock retard? For example here is what I got when I scanned while spraying:

Spark Adv: 35*
Knock retard: 9*

So how much would I need to retard the timing to correct for the knock?

Hey Craig, I'm running 32 degrees at WOT with the 100 shot. I would also mix in a little 100 octain (for insurance). But you want to make sure your knock problem is taken care of before you start spraying it, then work from there. I had some false knock present ,so i desensitizedd the knock sensor 50%. Once I was sure my knock issues were addressed, I then logged runs spraying first with the 50 shot and worked my way up to the 100 shot. Don't always rely on your knock sensor readings and O2 values, pull some plugs and look for detonation!!! Better to side on caution, have your engine live and race another day.
Good luck, Greg.
