Small fuel cell in engine compartment

Is a small fuel cell in the engine compartment track legal, or what would I need to do to make it track legal? I want to run a separate fuel system for nitrous use, like a 1 gallon fuel cell with race gas in it. Thanks!

I'm shure if you relocate the battery to the back and buy a cell from RCI or someone and put it where your battery was you shouldnt have a problem. I imagine that its better then putting it on your passenger seat like demolition derby cars LOL.

lol i have always wondered why they do that too, i guess its the least crash prone spot :: So far from what I have gathered it is legal as long as it is:
A. not your primary fuel source and
B. ground at the filler cap

It's fine as long as you ground it.
