Should I be considering a dual stage for a 175-200shot?

Im gonna spray 175-200 on my 383. SHould I be looking into a dual stage to help solve traction problems? Cause I highly doubt the tires will hold a 200hp and more tq jolt.

Or a single stage with a progressive controller using 2 noids inline?

The car will have a street twin 12bolt dennys ds and et streets when i start spraying.

A 175 shot out the hole is alot for the tires to hold. I've sprayed 2 bottles of a 175 shot and never could hook, and I have a auto with a stock displacement shortblock. So with a 6 speed and street twin .........you get the picture. I'd try a dual stage or progressive controller as you stated. Good luck.

I'de go with a dual stage out of the two. Progressive controllers beat up the solenoids.

With the right suspension setup you could spray out of the gate. Work on suspension, spray that 175-200 & trip that 60ft laser with your back tires LOL.......honestly tho spray as much as you can out of the hole and there is no way to know how much that will be until you take it to the track and play with it. Later.

I hit the 175 single stage outta the hole a few times. But traction was not gonna happen. Heck I have trouble with a 150( Nittos and suspension).
So I converted to dual stage. 100 on the first and 50-75 on the second. Much better for traction. And easier on the engine. I was getting up to 6* of KR on the single. And maybe 1 or 2 on the dual.

I was guessing he new better than to use a nitto & try to spray that. He would need at least a 28.5 x10.5 et drag. An Et drag is a far more superior tire than a nitto.

150 out the hole and the all the way down on et streets (dads car)

and it holds well as long as you can tune your suspension
