shipping a Nitrous bottle
As far as keeping the bottel open...
Air and moisture are bad so evacuate the bottel before you take it to get filled, I saw a guy that had a bottel hook up that he conected to his engine with a vaccume line along with a Hg gauge.
He would hook it up, start the car and get it pumped down to around 22in Hg and then he cloesd the valve and cut the engine then took it to get filled. He said he only did that with new bottels, ones he had shiped and ones he had to open( I had thought they were sealed ).
He said that trick also works good when working on the car's A/C.
